We about us

Ursel and GerdBoth of us are no spring chicken anymore but no old-timers either. We were born and raised in the South of Lower Saxony in Germany. Career reasons caused us to move abroad for many years. The locations were Melbourne, Vic. Australia, Philadelphia, PA and Atlanta, GA in the USA.

Our children were born in Australia. After 13 years abroad we returned to Germany with our children who have long since grown up.
 
 
 
 
 

Felix draws Oma and OpaIn 1996 we became grandparents and now have two grandchildren, Felix and Lukas, of whom we are very proud. And this is how Felix saw us when he was four: "The sun is shining and it is raining. With Oma and Opa in their garden". Very flattering!
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

click to enlarge -- größerThis shows the city hall of the beautiful village of Königsbronn on the "Schwäbische Alb", the Swabian Mountains, where we lived until recently after our return to Germany.

Königsbronn was built around a monastery that was founded in 1303 and is situated in the East of Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

But now we are in the process of moving again. After more than 40 years we are about to return to southern Lower Saxony and move to the lovely city of Einbeck. More on that later. The moving boxes have priority now.
